Trust that everything happens to you is good for you.

The second thing to bring myself to happiness is make only positive affirmations.
Honestly, I never thought it works, but amazingly it really works.
I spent 3 months for just making positive affirmations when I was in depression , and my sis recommended me a book called HEAL your life by Louis L Hay. I read it and understnad the importance and the power of affirmations, yet I rather reluctant to follow it.

I had a hard time in my first semester but because I know I should trust that everything happens to me is good for me , even though my heart or subconcious didn't trust . I forced myself to do things I always believe I could not do. I joined a event organising committee,  I went to an oversea expediion programme, and I went back to home just to swim with my family during school time even though I had to take a flight .for that. I always didnt believe I could have done all these because I never trust I could when I had so many assignments from my course.

I never thought that all these will help me anyway . I did all these because I told myself , whatever decision you made is right for you . You never make wrong decision because you are a thoughtful person , you do things that the body tells you they like it .whatever happens after the decision is also good for you , maybe at that time you think it s bad , it will turn out to be good in future. Indeed, I suffered a lot when I joined the organising committee, but just because of the committee , I got to know more friends, got to get in to stay in hostel which my school is willing to provide me although I do not have enough CCA points .Even now , I have more experience about how to organise an event because I was a head which I always rejected this kinf os responsibility .  OEP helped me to bond stronger relationship with my friends, which I get contact with some Christian activities, and I kind of believe I am not the unluckiest one . I gain confidence after joining all these.

However , all of these require a lot of money . As I am still a student , and also because of my family finiacial problem , I realised that I have no much left . The confidence and the faith made me to believe that I could do something to reduce the burden , I am good enough to love myself, and finally I got a good part time job . The boss is 73 years old , and I really like what he has taught me ... as I just realised appreciation of what you have is the key of life, just like what he did . So whatever happens in your life , think that it is part of the game , part of the interesting drama you cast in . Be happy and be a good person .
At this point , I started to believe I really appreciated what I had been.... and I will continue ...

First thing to do in pursuing happiness

Take care of yourself.
Here I upload a video which I find it interesting.

Why? because somethings we did everyday which have been our habits , we sort of lacking the appreciation to what we have done, perhaps we never think of them at all, as we always thought we have more important things to do. To us, those things we have done , we thought they are " nothing".
This video instead shows that they actually create happy sound , music if we do notice about it. That could be  quite fun . We should have listened to everything we have done , and be grateful with what we have .
So, the first thing is take care of yourself. Only that you take care of yourself , you create lovely , enjoyable sound, and never find annoyed about what you have done everyday . You find joy in your life from every habit you have for a new day. Taking care of yourself not only make you enjoyed , it makes you feel batter physically and mentally .

My experience told me this, because our body will be used to a system , and better adapt to good habit . Thus, if you do right things to your body , your body will understand , and you get happier and happier. Skipping meal, not bathing , skipping all the basic needs for your body will only create a mindset " i don't like you, you dont deserve this, everything is not important" , you unitentionally send a wrong message to your body that you do not like it anymore. It is worsened.

What is a hero to you?

Improvements:
1. I have reconnected to my committee members, have been away from my position for a long time, able to work on the jobs that I have left out for sometime.
2. I have settled my fines , and acknowledge my own mistakes done.
3. I am able to finish the things in my list to do today.
4. I went out with a good friend and had great dinner.
5. I met a long lost friend in the bus
6. I started to feel something is urging me to do .
7. I have great meals for today . Thanks god for giving me food.
8. I had difficulties to talk to people in phone as I will always hope to hand up phone after few minutes , but now I am able to make calls to several people to talk about some issues.
9. I had a great sleep and the weather goes very well today. Experienced some raining during the night , which cool the room.
10. I had my favourite orange juice again.
11. I think I am quite efficient today.
12. Today I smile more and I am quite gentle to everyone while talking.
13. I watched another inspiring video today , and know that life can be as fruitful like that.
14. I want to have joy of giving , and give the joy to others . It is so strong in my mind now.
15. I am able to apologise for my mistakes to my cousin and he forgives me .He made me a better a girl , always.
16. I enjoyed giving compliment to someone I care and I love , like my good friend. I said to her :" you are pretty"
17. I made sure to call back all the missed calls I have , which I believe I really learnt from my mistakes.
18. They said I have no energy , I said I become softer to everyone around me.
19. I met a long lost girl friend in the bus stop , who I know she is doing well and I am happy for her .
20. I met also a friend from my exchanged school and she still remembered me and I felt so happy about that.

 They believe in me , I know and so I will try the best for them.

This inspired me to take everyone as someone you love and you care for , once you feel that , you give love and they will return you the same. It is not " help" but it is "love" , a kind of contribution that you will do for someone you love.
What is a hero to you ? A hero does not really need to have a strong muscular body to protect others. With love , any strength that you give is a show of love. Start to love people around you, and you will feel the same.

Problem:
Walking along the orchard street, Singapore, I have kind of emptiness in my heart . I saw alot of pretty girls and a lot yuppies. They are walking towards somewhere unknown. I am thinking, what is my purpose of life on this street? To be like them ? Like them buying LVs, like them wearing branded clothes , driving sports car along the roads.? There are so many couples dressings like stars , walking , shopping... Are they real? Are they happy? Is that what I want? I do not know.. that was what I hoped for before.. but now I want to do something different , it is not like that only , in the comfort zone , but purposely to be out of comfort zone , it does not mean that I should go to an orphange to help children. I have dilemma... what do I actually want , I want to give something different to this world , what could it be?

Do not feel lost again , it is always okay to start over again . And a great start today.

Improvements:
1.I spent time to meditate for one hour today
2. I watched inspirational videos.
3. I didn't skip any of my meals
4.I appreciated I have two nice cousins who willing to wait for me for almost an hour.
5. I helped a friend to collect a thing for a programme use.
6. I spent time to indulge myself by doing facial mask.
7. I drink more than 2 litre of water today.
8. I started a new blog or journal for sharing
9. I found I reconnected with my old friends
10 . I received a vacation stay approval news from school.
11. I found my eyes recover quite fast today.
12. I still feel loved by my family even I am not with them today.
13. I re-watched two fantastic movies( a cinderella story , clash of titans) in bus which enlightened my day.
14. I truly feel that I am getting healthy by doing this .

How to love your life ?

Hey, I was thinking to start a blog to share experience in our  daily life.
To start to love our life, maybe we can start a journal for appreciation .
The posts can be quite simple , just share your lessons /stories/ quotes/inspiration/ motivations/ news in your everyday life.It can be from a book , from a website , or any moment in your everyday life. You can include " improvements " that you have to acknowledge your own achievements.
